Au Revoir, Stalks
All but the last few stalks, stragglers residing on still muddied ground, have now been shorn.
Not A Cornfield is, once again, not a cornfield.
This is the official blog of the Not A Cornfield project, a living sculpture in the form of a field of corn. The project is located just North of downtown Los Angeles on a large stretch of land well known as “The Cornfield.”
All but the last few stalks, stragglers residing on still muddied ground, have now been shorn.
The Not A Cornfield team requested a last-minute one-hour delay this morning, for documentarian purposes, and so the protypically on-time combine owner and operator, Tom Barcellos, dismounted his John Deere 9660 and went out to grab a bite to eat. Once again, the Not A Cornfield stalks receive a stay.
