The project site is located between Chinatown, the LA River and Lincoln Heights on a large stretch of land north of downtown Los Angeles well known as “The Cornfields.”

DIRECTIONS (SOUTH GATE) - From the intersection of Spring and College (Gold Line - Chinatown stop) take Spring north 2 blocks to the entrance gate at the southern end of the project site.

DIRECTIONS (NORTH GATE) - From the intersection of Spring and College (Gold Line - Chinatown stop) take Spring north to Baker. Veer left onto Baker and continue to the north gate.
Look for signs / flags for parking.

We are happy to invite you to our second Open Studio Event as part of the Not A Cornfield Project.

Featured presentation: Three distinguished architects and planners who have done work in the surrounding communities:

JAMES ROJAS, Latino Urban Forum
RAYMOND GUTIERREZ, CLEA
ULISES DIAZ, ADOBE LA

We will also provide an update on the Not A Cornfield Project by artist LAUREN BON.
Ms. Bon is a trustee of the Annenberg Foundation and President of Not A Cornfield, LLC.

These Open Studio events are an opportunity to discuss our progress with the community, as well as hear presentations on issues that are important to the neighborhoods around us.

Not A Cornfield is a living sculpture in the form of a field of corn that will be created this summer. The project is located just North of Chinatown and South of Lincoln Heights on a large stretch of land well known as “The Cornfields”. This event will take place at the north end of the site.
