The Not A Cornfield Project Blog + Podcast

This is the official blog of the Not A Cornfield project, a living sculpture in the form of a field of corn. The project is located just North of downtown Los Angeles on a large stretch of land well known as “The Cornfield.”

The Wall of Corn!

Thousands of multi-hued ears of corn cultivated at Not A Cornfield are now hung, drying and on display, along almost the entire expanse of the east-side fenceline, adjacent to the grounds' one-mile walking and jogging track.

(A break remains, of course, to encourage continued viewing of the Zanja Madre.)

The Wall of Corn, along with the rest of the project site, is open dail from 6am-8pm.

**Update: A Not A Cornfield regular visitor just stopped by and tells us that by his count, there are 133,694 ears of corn on the fenceline. That's 317 sections of fence, four rows of corn, and an average of 103 ears per row, as well as an additional 3,090 ears on the high fence near Millie's.
