The Not A Cornfield Project Blog + Podcast

This is the official blog of the Not A Cornfield project, a living sculpture in the form of a field of corn. The project is located just North of downtown Los Angeles on a large stretch of land well known as “The Cornfield.”

Combine Ready, NAC Crew Requests Stay Until 10am

The Not A Cornfield team requested a last-minute one-hour delay this morning, for documentarian purposes, and so the protypically on-time combine owner and operator, Tom Barcellos, dismounted his John Deere 9660 and went out to grab a bite to eat. Once again, the Not A Cornfield stalks receive a stay.

The Combine is indeed still scheduled to cut and chew this morning; now at 10am instead of nine. The project grounds, as always, are open today 6am-8pm.
