The Not A Cornfield crop has produced its first fully-grown* ear of corn. The pioneering plant responsible for the output is located in the hand-planted section of the cornfield, near the art project's "eye." This area was seeded 22 days ahead of the majority of the land, which otherwise was machine-planted.
